These terms apply between you and CleanYourDatabase (registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under number ZC263749) when you use cleanyourdatabase.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to them.
1. The Service
You upload a contact list and choose to have its mobile numbers cleaned, its email addresses cleaned, or both. Our team checks your file and returns a clean file to your login. For mobile numbers we report whether each number is alive or dead on the mobile network and the country it belongs to; for emails we report whether each address is valid, risky or invalid. Results reflect the networks and mail servers at the time of the check and are a point-in-time snapshot.
2. Turnaround
We aim to return your clean file within 24 hours of your payment being confirmed, and usually sooner. If we can’t, we’ll contact you. We’ll email you when your clean file is ready.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must have a lawful basis to hold the data you upload and to have it checked.
- You remain responsible for how you use the results, including the marketing and data protection rules that apply to you.
- You must not upload unlawfully obtained data.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are AED 0.25 per mobile number and AED 0.50 per email address cleaned, with a minimum order of AED 25.00. The price for your file is shown before you pay and is based on the number of cells containing a mobile number or email address in the columns you choose. Payment is taken in UAE dirhams (AED) by card through Stripe. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion.
5. Cancellations and refunds
You can delete an upload at any time before you pay. Once paid, we start work on your order straight away, so orders can’t be cancelled. If we can’t complete your order, or a fault on our side affects your results, we’ll re-run the affected records or refund the affected portion.
6. Accuracy and liability
We take care to check your data correctly, but we rely on mobile networks and mail servers and can’t guarantee every result is complete or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or regulatory penalties arising from your own contact activity.
7. Data protection
For uploaded lists we act as your processor, as described in our privacy notice. Your files are deleted 30 days after we deliver your clean file.
8. Accounts
Keep your login details secure. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
